Afsana Khan Shares Emotional Birthday Moment With Sonu Nigam
Mumbai — Singer Afsana Khan shared an emotional birthday celebration with Sonu Nigam after he told her she was the first person to cut his cake this year.
Khan posted a video on Instagram showing her and her husband, Saajz, celebrating with Nigam inside a vanity van during the filming of “Bhoomi 2026.” The clip showed the three cutting a cake together, with Khan later feeding Nigam a piece.
In an accompanying message, Khan said she had been invited to Nigam’s birthday party but would be unable to attend because she was traveling to the United Kingdom.
She said the on-set celebration became especially meaningful when Nigam told her she was the first person to cut his birthday cake.
“His words truly touched my heart,” Khan wrote. “He enjoyed the cake, showered me with so much love and blessings, and made this memory unforgettable.”
She also wished Nigam happiness, good health and continued success, describing him as both a legendary artist and a wonderful person.
Khan and Nigam have not released a major commercial song together, but the two singers share a warm professional relationship. Nigam also performed at Khan’s birthday celebration in June. (Source: IANS)
