TiE Boston Announces TiE New York as Co-Host of TiECON East 2026
Regional collaboration strengthens Boston’s largest entrepreneurial conference as founders, investors, and innovators gather to explore “The Next Growth Playbook” in the age of AI

BOSTON & NEW YORK CITY (June 2, 2026) — TiE Boston today announced that TiE New York will join again as co-host of TiECON East 2026, the region’s largest entrepreneurial conference, taking place Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, Massachusetts.
The continued partnership between the two TiE chapters builds on the momentum of recent years and reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the Northeast innovation ecosystem by connecting founders, operators, investors, and industry leaders across markets and sectors.
This year’s conference theme, “The Next Growth Playbook: Product, Market and Capital in the Age of AI,” reflects a major shift underway across industries: AI is no longer a novelty or differentiator — it is now embedded across products, workflows, and decision-making in nearly every sector. TiECON East 2026 will focus on how companies are applying AI with judgment, discipline, and operational clarity to build durable businesses.
“We’re incredibly excited to continue our partnership with TiE New York as co-host of TiECON East 2026,” said Purnanand Sarma, president of TiE Boston and CEO of Aro Biotherapeutics. “Over the last several years, our organizations have worked closely together to strengthen connections across the Northeast entrepreneurial ecosystem. Bringing together founders, investors, operators, and innovators from Boston, New York, and beyond creates a stronger platform for collaboration, learning, and company building at a time when the pace of technological and market change is accelerating rapidly.”
“We are thrilled to once again partner with TiE Boston for TiECON East,” said Jignesh Patel, president of TiE New York. “Over the past few years, this collaboration has demonstrated the power of bringing together entrepreneurial communities across regions to share ideas, build relationships, and support innovation. TiECON East has become an important forum for meaningful conversations around growth, leadership, and emerging technologies, and we look forward to contributing to another exceptional event in 2026.”
TiECON East 2026 is designed as a one-day, single-track conference focused on practical execution and company building in real time. Unlike AI trend conferences centered on speculation and hype cycles, the event will examine how successful companies are navigating product development, go-to-market execution, capital efficiency, and scaling challenges in a rapidly evolving business environment.
The conference will bring together founders, operators, investors, venture capitalists, ecosystem leaders, and professionals from sectors including software, AI, life sciences, fintech, healthcare, climate, and industrial technologies.
Expected attendees include first-time and repeat founders building toward scale, functional leaders in product and operations, investors focused on long-term execution, advisors supporting startup ecosystems, and students exploring the next generation of industry-defining problems.
The conference agenda will emphasize practical lessons and operator-tested insights rather than abstract AI theory. Discussions will explore what creates durable differentiation, how experienced leaders distinguish meaningful signals from market noise, and why some growth strategies scale successfully while others fail quietly over time.
A defining feature of this year’s event is its cross-sector structure, highlighting how companies solve similar growth challenges under very different conditions — including regulated versus non-regulated industries, fast versus slow customer cycles, and capital-light versus capital-intensive business models.
Attendees can expect candid conversations around the “messy middle” between early traction and sustainable scale, including discussions on organizational decisions, go-to-market strategies, and capital expectations that have shifted significantly since 2024 and 2025.
The conference’s single-track format is intended to foster deeper engagement, expose attendees to perspectives outside their own industries, and strengthen pattern recognition that participants can immediately apply to their businesses and organizations.
