Junglee Music Releases Title Track for ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ Ahead of Highly Anticipated Film Launch
MUMBAI — Junglee Music, a division of Times Music, has released the title track for the upcoming Bollywood film “Welcome To The Jungle,” unveiling what producers are calling one of the biggest musical spectacles of the year ahead of the film’s release.
The film, directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, features an ensemble cast led by Akshay Kumar and including Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta and several other prominent Bollywood actors.
The newly released title track aims to capture the franchise’s signature blend of comedy, chaos, nostalgia and large-scale entertainment. Originally composed by the late Sajid-Wajid and recreated by Vikram Montrose, the song features vocals by Shaan, Priya Patidar and Montrose himself.
The track combines original lyrics written by Shabbir Ahmed with additional lyrics by Meggha Bali, delivering a high-energy anthem designed for theatrical audiences and large-scale dance sequences.
Junglee Music said the full soundtrack will feature six major musical numbers spanning dance tracks, cinematic set pieces and commercial Bollywood anthems intended to continue the musical identity established by the long-running “Welcome” franchise.
“We wanted every song in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ to feel cinematic, entertaining, and mounted on a massive scale,” director Ahmed Khan said in a statement. “Music plays a huge role in building the world and energy of the film.”
Music director Vikram Montrose described the soundtrack as a celebration of mainstream Bollywood entertainment.
“This soundtrack celebrates everything audiences love about big Bollywood entertainers,” Montrose said. “The idea was to create songs that feel energetic, stylish, theatrical, and instantly memorable.”
Mandar Thakur, CEO of Junglee Music and Times Music, said the company aimed to build on the franchise’s reputation for large-scale entertainment through its music.
“The ‘Welcome’ franchise has always stood for larger-than-life entertainment, and with ‘Welcome To The Jungle,’ Junglee Music is delivering a soundtrack that lives up to that legacy,” Thakur said.
The title track is currently available on major audio streaming platforms through Junglee Music, while the music video has been released on the Times Music YouTube channel.
“Welcome To The Jungle” is expected to be one of Bollywood’s major commercial comedy releases of the year, combining a large ensemble cast with high-production musical sequences and franchise-driven nostalgia.
