Preity Zinta Shares Birthday Message for Husband Gene Goodenough

MUMBAI — Actress Preity Zinta shared a heartfelt birthday message for her husband Gene Goodenough, posting a series of photos from their vacation together on social media.

Zinta took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate the occasion, sharing pictures of the couple enjoying time together and writing an affectionate note in the caption.

“Happy Birthday to the one that is the center of my universe, the wind beneath my wings and my silver lining in a cloudy sky. Thank you for being the best father, best husband and my best friend. Love you to the moon & back,” she wrote.

Several members of the film industry also extended their wishes in the comments section. Actor Hrithik Roshan wrote, “Happy birthday Gene,” while actress Sonakshi Sinha commented, “Happy happy birthday Gene.”

Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough were married on February 29, 2016, in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. Goodenough works in the corporate finance sector and has previously held senior leadership roles in finance at a hydroelectric power company.

Zinta is also a co-owner of the Indian Premier League franchise Punjab Kings, formerly known as Kings XI Punjab.

Following their marriage, the couple have largely been based in Los Angeles, while the actress continues to travel to India for professional commitments. In November 2021, Zinta and Goodenough welcomed twins through surrogacy, Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough.

Although the couple maintain a relatively private personal life, they occasionally appear together at film events, sporting matches, and social gatherings.

Zinta made her acting debut in the film Dil Se.. and rose to prominence with Soldier, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She later starred in several successful films, including Kal Ho Naa Ho, Koi… Mil Gaya, and Veer-Zaara. (Source: IANS)
