Raveena Tandon Marks Women’s Day in Jaipur by Wielding Sword and Speaking on Women’s Safety

Mumbai — Actress Raveena Tandon spent Women’s Day in Jaipur speaking about women’s safety and honoring the legacy of warrior queens during a special event.

The actress shared glimpses from the celebration on Instagram, including a photo of herself holding a sword while wearing a traditional Rajasthani turban. A video from the event showed her greeting a large gathering of women attending the program.

Sharing the post, Raveena wrote, “Ask me how i spent my #womansday? Wielding a sword and talking about Women’s Safety and Warrior Queens ! Jai Bharat ! #jaipur #shaktibandhan #womensday And #harekrishna @jaipurwatchcompany (sic).”

She attended the event wearing a green silk dress paired with a matching necklace, styling her hair in a ponytail with brown-toned makeup.

On the professional front, Raveena will next appear in the comedy film “Welcome to the Jungle,” directed by Ahmed Khan and starring Akshay Kumar alongside Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor.

Reports also suggest she may appear with comedian Kapil Sharma in filmmaker Sharat Katariya’s upcoming Netflix drama, which would mark their first on-screen collaboration if confirmed.

Malaika Arora Says Navjot Singh Sidhu Sends Her Homemade White Butter Every Few Weeks

Mumbai — Actress Malaika Arora revealed that Navjot Singh Sidhu regularly sends her homemade “white makhan,” along with snacks and jaggery, every 15 to 20 days.

During her appearance on “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” host Kapil Sharma joked about Amritsar’s famous food. “Ma’am, Amritsar’s food is very famous — kulcha. Have you seen the white butter on kulcha? It reminds me of you,” he told Malaika.

Navjot Singh Sidhu then asked her, “Malaika mam, what do you get from my house?”

Malaika replied, “Every 15 or 20 days, he sends me white butter from his house, along with some snacks and jaggery.”

Kapil jokingly complained that although he has known Sidhu for nearly 20 years, he has never received even fennel seeds and jaggery from him. He admitted he was jealous of Malaika’s special treatment.

Later in the episode, Kapil asked Malaika, “What is more important in life, being good or mischievous?” Sidhu quickly responded with a playful remark: “Malaika mam is very mischievous, I can’t tell you how much.”

Toward the end of the episode, comedian Sunil Grover appeared dressed as Navjot Singh Sidhu, presenting Malaika with roses and even mock-proposing to her while she laughed and played along.

Sidhu also praised Grover’s impersonation, joking, “Manjot Singh tere aage Navjot fail.”

Soha Ali Khan Calls Return to United Nations as UNFPA Advocate a “Full Circle Moment”

Mumbai — Actress Soha Ali Khan said returning to the United Nations as a UNFPA Advocate marks a “full circle moment” in her career.

Soha shared that her first salaried job in 1999 was with UNIFEM in New Delhi, where she worked on initiatives focused on women’s economic and political empowerment and efforts to end violence against women.

“Back in 1999, my first salaried job was with UNIFEM in New Delhi, working to advance women’s economic and political empowerment and end violence against women (sic),” the actress wrote on social media.

Nearly three decades later, she has returned to the UN as an advocate for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), where she will focus on issues including reproductive health, menstrual health, gender equity and the dignity of girls and women.

“27 years later, I return as a UNFPA Advocate — championing reproductive health, menstrual health, gender equity and the dignity of girls and women. The UN has always meant collective action to me — countries and communities coming together to protect opportunity and choice. Motherhood deepened that conviction. And it’s the same belief that shapes All About Her,” she wrote.

“Soha concluded the post saying, “Some journeys come full circle — but with even more purpose. Here we go.”

The actress frequently uses social media to speak about social issues. Recently, she shared a message calling for peace amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran, expressing concern for civilians, especially children.

“There is no alternative to peace My thoughts and prayers are with the children, the innocent civilians. May tomorrow bring quieter skies and healing,” she wrote.

Mumbai — Actress Kriti Sanon shared a heartfelt birthday message for singer Stebin Ben, calling him family and praising his talent.

Posting a playful photo with him on Instagram Stories, Kriti wrote, “Happiest Birthday Stebssss!! Proud of your journey, in awe of your sheer talent & happiest to call you Fam! Always rooting for you!! (sic).”

She also shared another picture hugging Stebin and added, “Brother from another mother! Love you!!”

Kriti’s sister Nupur Sanon also posted an emotional message for her husband, writing, “Words could never express how grateful I am for you…for the extraordinary man that you are. You are my safe place, where I get to be soft, silly, and completely me.”

Nupur and Stebin married in Udaipur in January in ceremonies held according to both Hindu and Christian traditions after dating for several years.

Kriti had earlier shared moments from the wedding celebrations, revealing that the couple had been together for about five years before tying the knot. She said the marriage brought not only a brother-in-law into her life but also a lifelong friend.

Daisy Shah Hits Back at Troll Over Iftaar Video, Calls Out “Hate in the Name of Religion”

Mumbai — Actress Daisy Shah responded sharply to a social media troll after a video of her preparing iftaar food circulated online.

The controversy began when a user shared the clip and wrote, “Meet Daisy Shah. She has a problem with firecrackers but she visits Iftaar parties and cooks there as well.” Others joined in with remarks such as “All this to make Salman happy !!!” and “Who exactly is Daisy Shah ? She must be a caterer for that party.”

Daisy replied on X, formerly Twitter, rejecting the comparison and criticizing attempts to spread religious hate.

“Fire Crackers and cooking food are completely different from each other. Good luck with spreading hate in the name of religion. I hope you get well soon,” she wrote.

Daisy began her career as an assistant to choreographer Ganesh Acharya on films such as “Zameen” and “Khakee” before moving into modeling and acting. She made her acting debut in the 2011 Kannada film “Bhadra” and later appeared in “Bodyguard,” the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film.

Her Hindi film debut came in 2014 with Salman Khan’s “Jai Ho.” She later appeared in “Hate Story 3,” “Ramratan,” and “Race 3.”
