MUMBAI– Global K-pop sensation and former Bigg Boss 17 contestant Aoora, known for blending Korean and Indian musical flavors, has released his latest single “Khimchi Dosa” under the Cheers Music India label.
Described as a vibrant fusion of cultures, the track combines Korean beats with Indian rhythms to create what Aoora calls a “celebration of connection through food and music.”
“Food and music are two things that connect people beyond borders. With ‘Khimchi Dosa,’ I wanted to show how Korea and India, though different, are beautifully similar when celebrated together. It’s a track to make you dance, smile, and feel connected,” Aoora said.
The music video is a colorful, high-energy showcase featuring Aoora’s signature style, playful choreography, and a festive visual palette. It also stars rising actress Saanve Megghana as the female lead, who engages in a fun on-screen rivalry with the male leads.
Aoora collaborated with several well-known Indian industry figures for the project. Acclaimed cinematographer and filmmaker Ravi Varman — known for films such as Ponniyin Selvan, Barfi, Ram-Leela, and Tamasha — served as Creative Visionary and Director of Photography. Tamil music composer Dharan Kumar, recognized for his hit single “Unnai Kandene,” co-composed and performed in the track. Actor Aari Arujunan also makes a cameo appearance in Aoora’s first-ever Indian music video.
With “Khimchi Dosa,” Aoora hopes to further strengthen the cultural bridge between India and Korea, building on the popularity he gained with Indian audiences during his stint on Bigg Boss. (Source: IANS)
