MUMBAI– Grammy-nominated DJ and producer DJ Snake is set to electrify Indian fans once again with a six-city Sunburn Arena tour kicking off this September. Known for global hits like Taki Taki, Loco Contigo, Magenta Riddim, and Lean On, the French music star returns to India for his third Sunburn outing, promising high-energy performances and a powerful fan experience.

The tour will begin in Kolkata on September 26, followed by stops in Hyderabad (Sept 27), Bengaluru (Sept 28), Pune (Oct 3), Mumbai (Oct 4), and wrap up in Delhi-NCR on October 5.

“The passion and the love in India—it all hits different,” said DJ Snake. “I still remember the energy during my last visit with thousands of voices singing every word back to me. It was pure madness! Every time I come back, that connection feels so deep. See you soon, India!”

The artist, whose real name is William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, has built a massive fanbase in India and is widely known for infusing desi beats into his global sound. His upcoming album Nomad is slated to release this September, adding more excitement to the tour.

Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, highlighted the growing relationship between DJ Snake and Indian audiences. “His return for a third Sunburn Arena tour reflects the unique bond he has with India,” Singh said. “This tour reminds us of how far we’ve come in shaping the country’s EDM landscape. With lots in store, this one is set to be truly special.”

DJ Snake recently made history in May by becoming the biggest solo electronic artist at Stade de France, selling over 100,000 tickets within minutes. Known for genre-blending sets that incorporate trap, hip-hop, Latin, and Indian sounds, his performances consistently attract massive crowds worldwide.

Before rising to international fame with Turn Down for What, DJ Snake contributed production to tracks like Pitbull’s Shut It Down and Lady Gaga’s Applause. He later achieved Grammy and Billboard recognition and released chart-topping albums Encore and Carte Blanche.

As excitement builds, Indian fans are expected to flock to the six-city tour, which promises to be one of the country’s biggest EDM events of the year. (Source: IANS)
