CHENNAI– The first single from director Karthik Gattamaneni’s much-anticipated pan-India film Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, is set to drop on July 26, the makers announced on Wednesday.
Following the massive success of the pan-India blockbuster HanuMan, Teja Sajja returns with Mirai, a high-octane action spectacle touted to revolutionize the Indian superhero genre. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, known for hits like Karthikeya 2 and Jaat.
The upcoming track, titled Vibe Undi, promises to be a pulsating techno-beat number and will feature sizzling on-screen chemistry between Teja Sajja and Ritika Nayak. A newly released poster teases a visually intense moment, with Teja sporting a rugged, stylish look and Ritika locking eyes with him in a powerful gaze.
Mirai boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Manoj Manchu as the film’s menacing antagonist, alongside Shriya Saran, Jayaram, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
Director Karthik Gattamaneni, who is also serving as the film’s cinematographer, has written the screenplay, while Manibabu Karanam contributed to the script and dialogues. The film’s vibrant world is being crafted by art director Sri Nagendra Tangala, with Sujith Kumar Kolli onboard as executive producer.
Sources say Mirai will set new standards for Indian superhero films, featuring a record number of VFX shots and delivering a cinematic experience on a grand scale. The teaser has already created a buzz with its striking visuals and intense action.
