Sadhguru Joins Top Fashion Designers at New York Fashion Week, Calls for Sustainable Design

NEW YORK– Mystic Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev joined fashion icons Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Norma Kamali, Mara Hoffman and Mimi Prober at New York Fashion Week and urged designers to take a step towards ecological sustainability and human wellbeing.

“If all the designers can push towards encouraging everybody to make at least 50% of their wardrobes into natural fiber, it will be a great movement to start with,” Sadhguru said at the closing of the Fashion Week.

Sadhguru, a Yogi Mystic and visionary, is founder of Isha Foundation, a non-profit organization which offers yoga programs around the world and is involved in social outreach, education and environmental initiatives.

Named one of the 50 most influential people in India, author and poet, Sadhguru has been a most sought after speaker at International Leadership forums such as the World Economic Forum, United Nations and the UK House of Lords and has been featured on CNN International, CNBC, BBC and the Huffington Post and more.
