Some lovers preferred porn over me: Pamela Anderson

Anderson has launched a ‘Sensual Revolution’ campaign with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach to try and educate people on the dangers of online pornography, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She says the volume of X-rated material is damaging men of all ages and she has been in relationships where her partners would lock themselves away in the bathroom to get sexual gratification from the internet rather than make love to her.

“People have porn addictions. You have this woman who is living and breathing and lying in your bed and you are in the bathroom with a computer, there’s something going on that’s not normal,” Anderson said on TV show “This Morning”.

“And yes, I have experienced that and a lot of my friends have. That’s why we’re talking about the sensual revolution. It’s having intimacy and in an intimate relationship you have so much better sex, we’re not prudes, we not saying no sex, we’re saying we want better sex,” she added.

Michael Jackson named top-earning dead celebrity

Los Angeles– Late King of Pop Michael Jackson has topped an annual list of top-earning dead celebrities for the fourth straight year.

He has surpassed his fellow musical icons Prince and David Bowie, who passed away earlier this year, in the list, which has been released by Forbes magazine, reported theguardian.com.

Jackson, who died in 2009, raked in a bumper $825 million in earnings for the 12 months ending October 1, the report said.

The earnings came mostly from the Jackson estate’s $750 million sale of the late singer’s remaining stake in the Sony/ATV music publishing catalog — which includes the rights to many Beatles songs — to Sony Corporation.

Forbes’s estimates were based on pre-tax income, before management and legal expenses, and were compiled through interviews with estate experts and data on record sales, touring and movie earnings.

Sales of Prince’s albums soared after the musician died because of accidental drug overdose in April. Forbes ranked him in fifth place overall with estimated earnings of $25 million, just below Elvis Presley, with $27 million.

Bowie, who died of cancer in January came days after a new album release, outsold both Presley and Jackson in albums and singles in 2016, but the British singer’s overall estimated earnings were $10.5 million, Forbes said.

Golf legend Arnold Palmer, who died in September at age 87, claimed the third spot with earnings of $40 million, mostly from licensing and endorsements of his signature Arnold Palmer iced tea and lemonade drink, leisure wear label, and golf course designs.

Nicole Kidman felt lonely post her Oscar win

London– Actress Nicole Kidman, who won the Best Actress accolade at the 2002 Academy Awards for her role in “The Hours”, says she realised how “lonely” she was when she didn’t have “anyone to share” her Oscar with.

The Oscar win inspired Kidman to find a man to spend her life with, reports etonline.com.

“Winning the Oscar was a turning point, but not in terms of my life as an actor, because it was incredibly validating, but it actually symbolised loneliness to me because I didn’t have anyone to share it with at that stage in my life,” Kidman said during a question and answer session at the 60th BFI London Film Festival here on Wednesday.

“I was like, ‘Wow, this means I need to get my act together and I want to fall in love’. So it was weird,” she added.

Divorce is scary: Sarah Jessica Parker

Los Angeles–Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who has been married to singer Matthew Broderick for 19 years, says getting a divorce is not only costly, but “scary” as well.

The 51-year-old will next be seen in black comedy TV series “Divorce” — which will premiere in India on October 17 on Star World Premiere HD.

In “Divorce”, Parker plays Frances, a woman who has recently decided to divorce her husband.

She says that she sees plenty of parallels between the struggles of her onscreen character Frances and those of one of her real-life friends, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“Someone I am very close to is living right now in the same house as the person she is getting divorced from,” Parker told Metro newspaper.

She added: “That’s economic circumstances right now. To separate is so costly and scary and, in this case, she has given up her career for her family, and now she is going back to work, but can she really support the children on her own? It must be devastating.”
