B. D. Nayak Inducted to College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects

BRAINTREE, MA–B.D. Nayak, a Braintree, MA-based architect, has been elevated to American Institute of Architects  College of Fellows and was awarded a Fellowship Medal at an investiture ceremony during AIA Conference on Architecture in Orlando, FL.

Nayak received his architectural education at MIT and Harvard University (cross registration) and graduated from MIT with Master of Architecture Degree in 1970.

The 2017Jury of Fellows from the American Institute of Architects elevated 178 AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows from all over the United states. An honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the Architectural profession and the society on a national level.

There are more than 105,000 architects in USA. Out of a total AIA membership of over 90,000, approximately only 3 percent of members have this distinction and one of the highest honors in architectural profession, are recognized as fellows.

Nayak has been serving the Indian and American communities since 1985.
