BOSTON–Din Check, a local New England Bollywood band that originated in the basement of Boston suburbs 14 years ago, is now gaining national recognition.

In recent years, the band has performed in various states including Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and New York. Now, it has embarked on a multi-city tour of Texas in 2024.

Comprised of close-knit friends who share a deep passion for music, the band aims to expand its reach across the United States and potentially venture into Canada and overseas. Their growth has been fueled by the unwavering support and inspiration from their loyal Boston audience, who have remained their strongest fans, friends, and advocates.

The band’s Bollywood music has proven to be widely popular among the Indian/South Asian communities and has garnered attention as a preferred World Music genre for other communities as well. Notably, last year’s Academy award and a Golden Globe award for Indian song “Naatu Naatu” further amplified the appeal of this music genre.

Earlier this year, Din Check released their first original Hindi single called “Fursat Kahan”, which has been very well received by audiences worldwide. The band had the honor of playing their single for the first time live at the prestigious India New England Woman of the year award, produced by Boston’s India New England News.

The band has also partnered with highly respected charity organizations such as Ekal Vidyala, Vision-Aid, VT Seva, and WeCare and performed at multiple fundraising events for their respective noble causes.

Din Check is committed to pursuing their musical journey and aims to continue entertaining audiences across the United States. While rooted in Boston, the band seeks to spread their love for music throughout the United States and Canada. Further information on the band is available at www.dincheck.com .
