Taapsee Pannu: Falguni Pathak breaks stereotypes
Mumbai– Actress Taapsee Pannu, who recently performed with Garba Queen Falguni Pathak on her song “Chudi jo khanki” at Navratri Utsav, has praised the singer, saying she broke several stereotypes.
“It was such fun dancing with Falguni. She breaks stereotypes in the way she conducts herself, just like the daadis,” said Taapsee, referring to the Shooter Daadis who form the subject of her upcoming film, “Saand ki Aankh”.
Taapsee was speaking at an event to promote her upcoming film “Saand Ki Aankh”, which is based on the lives of India’s oldest sharpshooters, Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar, or Shooter Daadis, essayed in the film by Taapsee and Bhumi Pednekar.
“I have prayed for the success of ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. I am sure we’ll take this story to the remotest recesses of the country,” added Bhumi.
The film is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Anurag Kashyap and Nidhi Parmar.
Salman drops ‘Dabangg 3’ teaser, fans go wild for Chulbul Pandey
Mumbai– Salman Khan has dropped a teaser of his upcoming flick “Dabangg 3” and fans have gone wild.
The superstar, who has already changed his Twitter handle name to Chulbul Pandey, tweeted the teaser on Tuesday afternoon.
“Hello! My name is Chulbul Pandey. Nice to meet you! #Dabangg3WithChulbulPandey,” wrote Salman with the teaser, referencing the maverick cop who remains his most popular screen avatar ever.
In the teaser, Salman is dressed up as Inspector Chulbul Pandey and he mouths these lines with trademark swagger: “Kamaal karte ho Pandey ji! Jab Chulbul Pandey se jude hain pure India ke emotions, toh Salman Khan kyon karenge Dabangg ke promotions? Picture humari, poster humara, toh promote bhi toh hum hi karenge na!” (When all of India emotionally connects with Chulbul Pandey, why should Salman Khan promote Dabangg?)
Salman “Chulbul Pandey” Khan also confirmed the film’s release date and asked fans to welcome him on December 20.
Soon, fan reactions were pouring in, with Salman lovers clearly extremely excited. Tweets, comments and shares followed.
Among wellwishers was rapper Badshah. “Swag-at hai,” he wrote.
There were plenty of comments and wishes from regular fans, too.

Jennifer Winget is deadlier than before in ‘Beyhadh 2’ promo
Mumbai– The first official promo of “Beyhadh 2” is out, and lead actress Jennifer Winget looks deadlier than ever as the lethal Maya.
In the promo, she is seen sitting on the floor, dressed in black and holding an alarm clock. While playing with the clock, she gets a scratch on the hand, so she smashes the clock.
“Aksar ye soch kar neend nahin aati ki koi chain se so raha hai,” she says in the promo.
The first season of the show featured Kushal Tandon as the male lead. This time, Shivin Narang and Aashish Chowdhary will pair opposite Jennifer.
On reprising the role of Maya, Jennifer said that she is “excited and nervous” at the same time.
She said: “The show’s cast and production have been inundated with requests for the return of ‘Beyhadh’ ever since the show wrapped up. So I know this has been something all fans will be thrilled about and I am just as excited.
“Maya once more?! But are we ready?! I am both excited and nervous at the same time as the stakes are raised much higher for the sequel. The show will return with twice as much intensity and I can assure my viewers who have always showered their love upon me that this season is going to be even more thrilling. Maya’s hadh is going to break barriers once again in a way you can’t predict.”
Ayushmann looking at a hectic but exciting 2020
Mumbai– Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has delivered two hits this year — “Article 15” and “Dream Girl”. He has another movie, “Bala”, coming up later in 2019. Next year, he will again have three films, and he is nothing but excited.
Ayushmann will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s “Gulabo Sitabo” and Aanand L. Rai’s “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”, and he reveals that there will one more unannounced project that will be up for release.
“It’s looking like a hectic but exciting 2020. I will have at least 3 films releasing again and I can’t wait to show audiences the diverseness of these projects. Each one of these three films have a strong script and the stories are remarkably different,” he said.
“I have always considered real people as the heroes of my films and their lives, circumstances have inspired me to tell their stories on screen. Next year will be no different. Along with these releases, I will have several new exciting announcements to share and I will start filming them too. So, I can’t wait for 2020 – it will be my busiest year in cinema,” added the actor, who made his Bollywood debut with “Vicky Donor” in 2012.
Did SRK forget to call Deepika Padukone?
Mumbai– Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone had to remind Shah Rukh Khan on the social media after the superstar got busy with work and forgot to call her.
Shah Rukh had on Monday shared a black and white image on himself on Twitter. In the image, the superstar was seen cleaning his library and he wrote: “Did an all nighter…cleaning up my library. A bit shabby and smelling of books, dust and happiness…”
Deepika immediately wrote back: “Hello! You were supposed to call me!” Her comment has garnered 1.8K retweets and 22.3K likes so far.
Deepika made her Bollywood debut in 2007 in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Om Shanti Om”. She was later seen sharing screen space with the “Dilwale” star in “Chennai Express”.
She will next be seen in “Chhapaak”, where she plays an acid attack survivor. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and is slated for release on January 10, 2020.
Deepika will also be seen sharing screen space with her husband Ranveer Singh in filmmaker Kabir Khan’s “83”.
Aishwarya’s Paris Fashion Week look gets mixed reactions
Paris– Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently walked the runway at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week, but her look has received mixed reactions on social media.
Aishwarya wore a pink asymmetrical floral dress by Giambattista Valli, teaming it with fringed footwear, a messy top bun and glittery makeup.
Expressing his views on Instagram, Indian designer Wendell Rodricks slammed the actress’ stylist.
He wrote: “@loreal you have one of the prettiest girls in the world and this is how you do her make-up and dress her? Sack the stylist for this sack dress with a note that Halloween is next month.”
Many users called it as a “disaster”.
One user commented: “The dress, the make-up, the hair… It’s all so atrocious… It looks like a 6-year old was given a free reign on her face…”
However, there were some who defended Ash, saying she had managed to pull it off despite the disastrous style statement.
“She still managed to pull it off,” add the Instagram user.
