Abhishek Bachchan starts shooting for next film

Mumbai– Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has started shooting for director Kookie Gulati’s yet-untitled-film.

Abhishek on Monday posted a photograph of the film’s clapboard and captioned it: “Here we go! A new journey, a new beginning. Need your best wishes. Ajay Devgn, Kookie Gulati.”

The film is produced by Ajay Devgn films. The film marks the reunion of Ajay and Abhishek seven years after “Bol Bachchan”.

Other details related to the film are under wraps.

Gulati has previously helmed movies like “Prince” and “Pyare Mohan”.

KJo’s personal wardrobe finds place in Angad’s film

Mumbai– Actor Angad Bedi will play a stylish cricketer in “The Zoya Factor”, and the film’s costume unit has sourced clothes for the role from filmmaker Karan Johar’s wardrobe.

“My character needed different looks as formals, athleisure and layers. So we put together a range of high-end brands to give the character a look that would best deem fit. Karan was kind enough to allow us to source clothes from his wardrobe. He is a style icon and the character ”m playing, Robin, needed aesthetic of the fashion sense Karan has in his personal life. My producers, Aarti and Pooja Shetty, put together looks from his personal wardrobe,” said Angad.

Mumbai– At a time when filters dominate the world of social media, Lisa Ray has come out and shared an unfiltered picture of herself. In the photo, the actress appears to be without makeup and yet looks very pretty.

Why Deepika calls Ranveer a ‘trashcan’

Mumbai– Deepika Padukone has called hubby Ranveer Singh a “trashcan”, for his tendency to finish off whatever she leaves on plate at the dining table.

The actress’ latest meme on Instagram is a hilarious post that has her poking fun at her actor-husband’s habit. In the meme, a girl and a boy are seated at a table, eating. While the boy sips at his drink, the girl has trouble finishing her food. Then she throws the remaining food into the boy’s mouth, which is wide open like a trashcan. “Open wide, trashcan!” she tells him.

“That’s us” wrote Deepika, and tagged Ranveer.

Ranveer on his part commented on the post. “Hahahahahaha! BASICCC,” he wrote.

“That’s cute,” wrote a user, while another showed solidarity to the star couple: “You aren’t alone”.

“All husband and wife relation is the same,” wrote another user. A Ranveer fan used the situation to gush about him: “Ranveer is the love everyone deserves.”

Deepika and Ranveer are currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s “’83” in Mumbai, after wrapping up a stint for the film in London. Ranveer plays cricketer Kapil Dev and Deepika is cast as Kapil’s wife Romi, in the film that narrates the story of India’s first World Cup victory in cricket in 1983.

Pranali Ghogare replaces Sambhabana on ‘Rajaa Betaa’

Mumbai– Actress Pranali Ghogare will step into the shoes of Sambhabana Mohanty as Purva in the show “Rajaa Betaa”.

“Taking over an already well-established character comes with responsibilities and of course, the pressure to perform either better or at par with the previous actor,” Pranali said.

“Being new to the show, it leaves me with enough (scope) to research and learn… which in turn helps me bring a sense of freshness to the character. I am looking forward to my new avatar and I do hope the fans of the show will like and accept me as their new Purva.”

Earlier, the makers of the show had roped in Dishank Arora to play the role of male protagonist Vedant that was previously essayed by Rrahul Sudhir.

In the show, the turn of events have put Vedant behind bars for the murder of his own wife.

Sonakshi Sinha plans to launch a fashion label in future

New Delhi– Actress Sonakshi Sinha says she will come out with her fashion label once her career as an actress slows down.

“I have studied fashion designing, so that would be a natural step to take. As of now, I am not thinking of it, but maybe later when I slow down with acting I’ll think of it. Both are two very demanding professions. I would want to give each my hundred per cent,” Sonakshi told IANS when asked about plans of coming out a label anytime soon.

The actress will be seen judging the digital fashion reality show “Myntra Fashion Superstar”, which goes live on Tuesday on the Myntra app and Zoom TV. The eight-part reality series will show 10 participants competing for the title of ‘India’s Next Big Fashion Influencer’, and will be mentored and judged by celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani along with Sonakshi.

When it comes to fashion, how bold or experimental have you been?

“I am actually very experimental when it comes to fashion because I myself get bored of doing the same thing over and over again. If you see my red carpets, if you see the reality show that I am doing, I have tried a lot of new things. I love experimenting with my look. I recently started working with Mohit Rai and he has really changed my style around. If you are calling me a fashionista, it’s not because of me, it’s because of him,” she said.

Mumbai– Actress Nimrat Kaur says that she starts her day with a cup of tea and preparing the “perfect” one is “art”.

Sharing her fond memory with tea, Nimrat told IANS: “Chai, the very desi cup of tea is something that the first thing I have learnt how to make and, let me tell you, preparing a perfect cup of tea is really an art, and certainly not an easy one. After several trial and errors, finally one day I was allowed to make that morning tea for my mother. She loves drinking tea, so do I and we start our day with tea,” said Nimrat.

“The day my mother said that I can prepare the perfect tea, it was like an achievement for me. My mother is a tea fanatic. Earlier, she would drink around 15 cups of tea,” added “The Test Case” actress at the launch of the tea lounge ‘Queen’s Deck’.

Nimrat was last seen in the film “Airlift”. She has finished shooting for the final season of the American TV series ‘Homeland’.

Ayushmann Khurrana wishes ‘Dream Girl’ director on his birthday

Mumbai– Ayushmann Khurrana has wished Raaj Shaandilyaa, director of his new film “Dream Girl”, on his birthday. The actor, incidentally celebrated his birthday on Saturday, and he added said that the films success is the best birthday gift for both of them.

The actor took to Twitter on Monday afternoon and shared a still from the set of the film. He wrote: “Happy Bday Raaj Shandilya @writerraj! This was day-1 of shoot of #Dreamgirl on the banks of Yamuna in Mathura. This film’s success has been the best bday gift for us. Shine on my friend!”

Raaj replied to Ayushmann’s tweet, “Thankkkk uuuu sooo much bhai for ur love, blessings & support…#DREAMGIRL is d biggest gift for me…#KaramhiPOOJAhai”.

Scriptwriter Raaj Shaandilyaa’s debut directorial “Dream Girl”, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha, is currently seeing a dream run at the box office since releasing last Friday. The comedy flick collected Rs 44.57 crore since its release on September 13.

Prior to turning director for “Dream Girl”, Raaj has written dialogues for movies like “Welcome Back”, “Freaky Ali” and “Jabariya Jodi”. He has also worked actively on television as a scriptwriter.

Tara Sutaria’s burger choice impresses netizens

Mumbai– Actress Tara Sutaria was spotted after a salon session and her “different look” caught attention of many netizens. One social media user called her Selena Gomez, while most gave a thumbs-up to the decision to choose a burger over salad.

The “Student of the Year 2” actress wore an off-shoulder black and white short dress for the outing. Netizens couldn’t help but spot the different look. Some wondered if she was getting some soert of a procedure done. Many people also noticed the burger from McDonald’s she was holding.
