“Not only am I foraying into a new industry altogether, but this project is going to be environment-friendly as well. I think it’s high time we realise our responsibility towards mother earth and I am more than happy to contribute in any way possible,” said Sunny about the brand called Xcentric.

The products will be under the actress’s beauty and cosmetic brand, Star Struck. Sunny hopes her new venture “will strike a chord with women all around the world”.

Sunny’s new brand will create eco-friendly cosmo-tech products including hair-dryers, curlers, epilators, wrinkle reducers and blackhead removers.

This is not the first time that Sunny is exploring a business opportunity. Apart from Star Struck, Sunny has also launched a perfume brand named Lust in the past, and a lingerie brand called Infamous.

She also started a play school for toddlers named D’Art Fusion, along with husband Daniel Weber.

Currently, the actress is busy with the 11th season of the TV show, MTV Splitsvilla.

The actress took to Instagram story on Monday to share an update from the set of “Dabangg 3”, in which she reprises her role as Rajjo.

In a short video, Sonakshi is seen walking towards a gate, surrounded by guards, and waving at fans who are thrilled to see her.

Last month, when she was asked what the audience can expect from “Dabangg 3”, she said: “I think it will be fun because there is an element in the ‘Dabangg’ series where artistes come and they do a song for the film. This time there will not be Munni in the song and there will be Munna in the song, so it will be a lot more fun.”

“Dabangg 3” is produced by Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi is a busy bee on the work front. Even as she awaits the release of her next, “Khandaani Shafakhana”, she flew out for a schedule of “Bhuj: The Pride Of India”.

Salman’s Bottle Cap Challenge leads to troll trouble

Mumbai– Superstar Salman Khan intended to give a message on water conservation with his Bottle Cap Challenge, but that has led to people questioning his religious belief.

On Sunday, Salman shared his version of the Bottle Cap Challenge, which is about people coming up with inventive ways to unscrew a bottle cap. Instead of kicking the cap, Salman blew off the already-loosened bottle cap and drank the water, ending the video by saying “Paani bachao (Save Water)”.

While fans of the Bollywood superstar lauded his act, there was a part of the video which caught the ire of a section of people.

Salman starts the video with the gesture of folded hands as if he is praying, then raises the hands for prayer, and ends it with a Holy Cross gesture.

This was enough for users on social media to question his religious beliefs.

One user wrote: “Salman Khan, are you Muslim or Christian?”, while another posted: “Firstly, he did namaste then dua and then cross sign.. he just wants (to) say he is a secular Indian and believes in all religions.”

Yet another user wrote: “Which religion do you believe in? Please decide.”

In the past, Salman has maintained that he doesn’t believe in judging people on the basis of where they come from or their religion, and added that he believes in sending out a message — “We all are humans, and should live in harmony.”

Neena, Gajraj reunite for ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’

Mumbai– After spreading laughter with last year’s film “Badhaai Ho”, actors Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao have been roped in for Ayushmann Khurrana’s gay love story “Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan”.

“Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan” is second part of 2017 film “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan”.

Rai of Colour Yellow Productions is happy to work with Neena and Gajraj.

“With ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’, we chose to explore a novel subject in an unusually unexpected setting,” Rai said in a statement.
