“You think good films are being made?” Tanishaa countered, when a reporter asked her if she planned to make a comeback in Hindi films. “If I get a quality film offer, I will definitely do it. Nowadays, the web has become a great platform. I want to make films and, hopefully, I will start shooting for a film under my production house,” she revealed, interacting with the media at 15th Annual Fura Retail Jeweller India Awards 2019 on Monday in Mumbai.

Kajol’s younger sister Tanishaa worked in films such as “Sssshhh…”, “Popcorn Khao! Mast Ho Jao”, “Neal ‘n’ Nikki” and “Tango Charlie”, but she could not match the success of her elder sister, or their mother, actress Tanuja. Lately, Tanishaa has been busy with her NGO, named Stamp.

“I feel strongly about the environment. I have been busy working with my NGO. It’s about planting trees and reducing the carbon footprint. Climate change has become a huge issue now, and we have only three years to do something about it. If we don’t do anything in these three years, then it will be difficult for us to live in Mumbai,” she said.

Going live best way to connect with fans: Saumya Tandon

Mumbai– Actress Saumya Tandon, who gave birth to a son a few months ago, is planning to go live on social media twice a month in order to stay connected with fans.

Saumya Tandon

“I plan to go live, hopefully twice a month, because I’ve come to realise that it’s the best way to connect with fans and wellwishers. I often get queries on various topics like my workout, beauty regime, diet and clothes, and replying each one gets hectic, owing to television’s demanding schedule. By going live, I can speak to my fans directly from the gym, or do a beauty treatment video that will address queries regarding the same. Lastly, going live is the best way to get feedback on what the audience want,” she said.

Saumya is known for her role of Anita Bhabhi in the show “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!”.

I told him that I feel it will take seven years for him to complete the film. He got angry. When I said so, he asked, ‘how can you be so sure that I won’t be able to make ‘Avatar’ for seven years?’ I told him that what he was imagining was salmost impossible — that he has named his film ‘Avatar’ but is showing aliens,” Govinda said.

The actor was speaking on an episode of the television show “Aap Ki Adalat”, where he also claimed that he had rejected several Bollywood biggies including “Devdas” and “Taal”.

Talking about rejecting ‘Avatar”, Govinda claimed he did not have enough dates.

“Cameron wanted me to shoot for 410 days. For someone like me, to get painted all over the body was something I could not do. So, I apologised. But like I said, the film went on to become a super hit.”

Mumbai– Actress Lara Dutta-Bhupathi says motherhood has been her “most fulfilling” role in life.

“However, I also think for me today, it is by far the most fulfilling role that I play in my life, regardless of everything else that I’ve done — and it’s been quite a lot in the last 25 years,” she added.
