BURLINGTON, MA– DFD Academy, a dance school in the Greater Boston Area specializing in precision-based dance training, on Sunday, April 28, will present a fusion dace at the 11th Annual Spring Wedding Expo at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.
Organized and produced by INDIA New England News, one of the nation’s largest Indian-American newspaper, the annual Spring Wedding Expo kicks off the wedding and fashion season.

DFD Academy was founded on the notion that young students can reach a higher potential if they’re taught advanced choreography at an early stage. The dace at Expo will be choreographed by DFD Founder Devika Dhawan. She has been training in dance for 20 years with a background in Hip Hop, Bollywood, and Indian Classical.
She trained in Bharatnatyam at the Triveni School of Dance under the instruction of Smt. Neena Gulati for 11 years. In college, she was a dancer on, and later captain of, Boston University Chankaar, the university’s premiere South Asian dance troupe. Post graduation, she trained and performed with the Urban Connection Dance Company in Boston. Currently, she is a dance instructor, event and wedding choreographer, and full-time Director of DFD Academy.
