MIT India Conference Adds Former RBI Governor and Heads of Dr. Reddy’s and Hindustan Unilever to its Roaster of Speakers

CAMBRIDGE, MA–MIT India Conference, which will be held on Feb. 16 at MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, MA, has added five top speakers, including former Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan and Prakash Javadekar, India’s Minister of Human Resource Development (formerly ministry of education).

Others who have been recently added to the roaster of speakers at the day-long conference are:  Satish Reddy, Chairman of Dr. Reddy’s; Sanjiv Mehta, Managing Director, Hindustan Unilever; and Bollywood actor Anupam Kher.

Previously confirmed speakers include Dr. Subramanian Swamy, politician; Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis; Shereen Bhan, Journalist; Sourav Ganguly, Ex-Indian Cricket Team Captain; and Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar.

It will be the 9th Annual MIT India Conference, which aims to celebrate the achievements of India globally, as well as discuss future collaborations between India and the world that could help accelerate innovation into the future.

This year’s theme is “India’s Competitive Edge.” The conference this year brings together more than 20 speakers from various sectors, including technology, policy, business, and social impact, among others.

MIT India Conference is one of the biggest India-focused conferences in the US and will be held at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, MA. The MIT India conference has established itself as an important forum for leaders in industry, academia, and policy to discuss current issues and future innovations in the context of India, in the region and abroad.

The 9th Annual MIT India Conference will take place on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
