Mishra Group Launches Hispanic Business Journal, a Portal for All Hispanic Community Related Business News and Information

BOSTON—The Mishra Group, a diversified media and marketing firm that publishes IndUS Business Journal, Boston Real Estate Times and INDIA New England News, today announced the launch of Hispanic Business Journal, a news portal for Hispanic community-related business news, information and data.

The Mishra Group recently hired Edwin Vidal as a leading consultant for this project. Mr. Vidal is a digital strategist and co-founder of CNNenespanol.com and other CNN international sites.

“We could not find anyone better than Mr. Vidal to launch Hispanic Business Journal,” said Upendra Mishra, managing partner of the Mishra Group. “For more than two decades, Mr. Vidal has been involved in online operations in the U.S. and Latin America and has an extensive knowledge of the Hispanic market.”

Previously, Mr. Vidal worked as the Deputy Latin American Editor of United Press International and as the bureau manager for Mexico.

Mr. Mishra said that Latin businesses, especially the small start-ups, in the U.S. are booming and going to play an important role in the US economy as the Hispanic population grows.

It is estimated that the Hispanic population will rise to 29 percent of the U.S. population by 2050, up from 17 percent today. Studies and news reports indicate that if Hispanic businesses grew as fast as the U.S. average, they would add $1.4 trillion to the U.S. economy.

“The Hispanic Business Journal will serve as a one-point source of all Hispanic-related business news and information in the United States,” said Mr. Mishra. “In addition, we will publish online directories and lists and produce special events and shows for the Hispanic business community.”
