A Movie About a Ladakhi Girl at Belmont World Film on Jan. 20


ARLINGTON, MA—If you are interested in Ladakh, you might want to check out this film—CHUSKIT– on January 20, in Arlington, MA.

The film is based on a true story about a 10 year-old girl with a disability who fights for the right to attend school in her village in the Ladakhi region of India.

The firm is part of its 16th Annual Family Festival on Sunday, January 20, at 1: 30 PM at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA. The film is supported by Our Ladakhi Sisters, a volunteer group in New England.

To chase her dream of going to school in her remote Himalayan village in India, a feisty girl, who lost use of her legs in an accident, locks horns with her tradition-bound grandfather. Based in part on a true story.

Belmont World Film will screen the US premiere of CHUSKIT.
