WALTHAM, MA—INDIA New England News readers rated 58 Indian restaurants in Massachusetts, and selected Masala Art in Needham as their Number One choice, followed by Godavari in Woburn at Number Two. The biggest surprise was Wellesley’s Singh’s Café, which has been in the top list every year, did not make the list this year.
Others who did not make this year’s top list are: Bollywood Grill of Shrewsbury; Paradise Biryani Pointe Westborough; Biryani Pot, Framingham; and Coriander Bistro, Sharon.
Ritu Ki Rasoi maintained its third ranking for the last two years.
“Maharaja of Cambridge, the former location of the famed Bombay Club in Harvard Square, and Virsa de Punjab joined this year’s list for the first time,” said Upendra Mishra, publisher of INDIA New England News. “We are very grateful to our readers who fill out our restaurant survey every year.”
In 2017, INDIA New England readers had ranked Godavari on the top, followed by Masala Art. In 2016, both Godavari and Masala Art had tied for the top spot.
“Our readers also provided some insights and advice to the area’s restaurant owners and managers that will be published later this week,” said Mr. Mishra.
