Rupa Datta and Rutuja Patil Co-Found Dance BFF, Organize Incredible Bollywood Show on June 16

PROVIDENCE, RI– Rupa Datta and Rutuja Patil, who recently co-founded  Dance BFF  or Bollywood Fusion + Fitness, are organizing Incredible Bollywood show on June 16 at West Warwick High School Auditorium in West Warwick, RI.

“We have partnered with West Warwick High School Theatre Group to receive part of our proceeds. It helps build their scholarship funds for students interested to pursue Theatre for College,” said Ms. Datta. “Last year we had produced a Mega Show called Incredible Bollywood that became talk of the town in Rhode Island. Because of demand we are producing Incredible Bollywood 2.”

She said 100+ dancers will participate in the show this year. About 800 people are expected to attend the event.

“Not only is it a colorful and visually interesting story, it’s also one that reveals the ethnic diversity that exists in our small state,” Datta said. “While the dances are Indian, the performers come from wide-ranging ethnic backgrounds.”
