Center for Emerging Markets at Northeastern University launched the Indian Lecture Series last year with a generous gift from an anonymous donor.

“Response to the India Lecture Series has been terrific. We are therefore using a bigger and nicer venue for the event this year,” said Prof. Ravi Ramamurti, University Distinguished Professor of International Business & Strategy and Director of Center for Emerging Markets at Northeastern University.

As Discussant, Vivek Sharma, CEO of Piramal Pharma Solutions and and a Trustee of the American India Foundation, will kick-off the discussion with the audience after Dr Panagariya’s remarks.

Here are the details:

Date: April 4th, 2018

Hors d’oeuvres served before lecture.

“The goal is to raise awareness about India among students and the broader community,” Mr. Ramamurti told INDIA New England News. “Last time we focused on the extraordinary contribution of Indian Americans to the US economy. This time we want to take stock of where the Indian economy is headed, with Dr. Arvind Panagariya, who was a senior adviser to PM Narendra Modi with Cabinet rank from 2015-2017. It’s also a terrific opportunity for people interested in India to network with one another.”
