BURLINGTON, MA- The Devika Fusion Dance group is ready to perform at INDIA New England News’s Spring Wedding Expo on Sunday, April 30, at the Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA. Twelve students will perform as part of the expo’s long-standing dance show, showcasing a medley of dance styles.
Devika Fusion Dance will perform for their first time ever at the Spring Wedding expo, and dance for the attendees. The expo, which will be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, is free to all attendees.
The children performing will be Sneha Shetty, Neha Chandra, Esha Shetty, Aanya Parmar, Amy Koleth, Anushka Philip, Meghna Edpuganti, Prajusha Reddy, Arpitha Sharma, Isha Mehta, Shreya Godhani, Shravya Sathi. They will be accompanied by their instructors, Devika Dhawan and Pari Amin. Dhawan is also the choreographer for this performance.
“At Devika Fusion Dance, we believe that dance is about expressing yourself and emotion is too complex to be conveyed in one form. That’s why we always blend a variety of styles in our performances to best represent the unique feel of every song or piece,” said Dharwan. “At the Wedding Expo, we will be providing a flavor of both modern and traditional dance forms through Bollywood, Indian Folk, and Hip Hop dance styles.”
Devika Fusion Dance is a boutique dance school in the Greater Boston Area aimed at helping students build confidence, diversity of thought, and collaboration through an introduction to professional level choreography at a young age. Along with teaching regular classes for the youth, DFD provides wedding choreography services and instruction in various dance styles to its clients.
