BURLINGTON, MA—You are concerned about your health and want a free consultation or second look, the 5th Annual Health, Fitness and Wellness Expo is the place to be this Sunday at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.
The Indian Medical Association of New England, one of the oldest organizations of the physicians of Indian origin in the United States, will provide free health screening that will include blood pressure and Body Mass Index, or BMI, among other health issues.
“IMANE is looking forward to continuing its mission of promoting health care for the underserved community in the New England area,” said Sameer Kapasi, president of the Indian Medical Association of New England, known as IMANE.
Dr. Neela Gandhi, a well-known dentist, and her team will provide free dental and oral cancer screening at the mega Health, Fitness and Wellness Expo on Sunday at Burlington Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA.
“There are a lot of systemic problems in body that can cause health issues in the mouth and vice versa,” said Dr. Gandhi. “Your oral health is part your overall health and that is why such screening are important.”
Dr. Gandhi said that her team will provide screenings for oral cancer, cavities, teeth problems and other related issues between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo is on March 5th, 2017 from 10: 00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Marriott Hotel in Burlington, MA. The event is free to all attendees but they must pre-register.
