Holistic professionals from the fields of Ayurveda, acupuncture, yoga and meditation will present key information and useful takeaways. Beth Marik is a health and wellness professional with over 16 years’ experience in the field of holistic health education. Her studies have helped me to become an outstanding therapist, yoga teacher and health counselor. She is versed in clinical documentation, assessment/treatment, and have proven results when working with clients.
Belief in the practical knowledge of multiple, holistic education/techniques has enabled her to blend the benefits of quality yoga instruction with “chikitsa” or therapy. Beth began her yoga studies at 18 years of age. She is originally from Chicago, IL and a recent resident of the North Shore region in Massachusetts. My next yoga adventure is to visit Kerala for Ayurvedic and Panchakarma studies. A member of AMBP, she currently works with clients, offering Ayurvedic/Yoga Education and professional bodywork in New England around the greater Boston/North Shore areas.
Suraja Menon Roychowdhury
Suraja Menon Roychowdhury is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist trained in Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture and herbal medicines. With a Ph.D in Pharmacology and extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Neuroscience she brings a unique perspective to the understanding of medical practice.
As a TCM practitioner, Suraja enjoys connecting deeply with her patients, as a result of thorough discussions about their chief complaint, as well as all issues associated with their physical and emotional health. The inseparable nature of the mind and body is one of the central tenets of TCM, which she finds most satisfying in her work as a neuroscientist-cum-TCM practitioner. Her approach is patient-and results-oriented and she encourages her patients to take an active role in their health care.
