Anish Khanzode Named Chair of LearnQuest’s 12th Annual Music Conference and Festival

WALTHAM, MA—LearnQuest Academy of Music, a non-profit institution that provides formal instruction in Indian classical and light music, has named Anish Khanzode as Chair of the academy’s flagship 12 Annual Music Conference and Festival, which will he held April 14, 15 and 16th at Regis College in Weston, MA. The music festival will feature Hindustani and Carnatic music.

Khanzode is a music lover and software engineer by profession. He has been living in the Greater Boston area for the past 21 years.

“Anish has played a vital role in organizing LearnQuest’s annual music festivals and other events in the past,” said Pradeep Shukla, president of Waltham, MA-based LearnQuest Academy of Music. “We are excited that he has assumed the role of Chairman of the conference this year. Our team is thrilled to work with him.”

As chair. Khanzode is responsible for putting together various committees and subcommittees of volunteers for the event this year.

“Every year music lovers unite and savor Indian classical music at LearnQuest music festival. With support from listeners, patrons, organizations & volunteers, we hope you will enjoy the 12th Annual LearnQuest Music festival,” Khanzode told INDIA New England News. “Artists and listeners look forward to the conference which has become a must attend event for music lovers.”

He said lineup of artists who will perform at the festival will be announced soon.

“This year’s artists lineup will include stalwarts and upcoming artists which will be revealed soon. More than 20 volunteers have already started working on making the 12th Annual conference a memorable festival of music,” said Khanzode. “As a tradition the conference is always held on Easter weekend, and in 2017it will be held at Regis College on April 14, 15 and 16th and will feature Hindustani and Carnatic music.”
