LEXINGTON, MA– South Asians for Hillary are meeting Thursday, July 28, in Lexington, MA, to rally support for the Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“We are excited to host the South Asians for Hillary Massachusetts Kick-Off event in the Birthplace of America – Lexington, MA,” said Saatvik Ahluwalia, Co-Regional Director of South Asians for Hillary.
South Asians for Hillary was started by Neha Dewan and Rajan Trivedi who are the National Co-Chairs for South Asians for Hillary. South Asians for Hillary has four regional directors from New England: Saatvik Ahluwalia, Swati Sawant, Sonali Seth Lappin and Neheet Trivedi.
“We believe that Sec. Clinton is the most qualified person to run to be our next President. During this historic race, we want to energize and engage the South Asian community to volunteer, fundraise, and, most importantly, vote for Sec. Clinton, Ahluwalia said. “In addition, it is our goal to help the South Asian population connect and build relationships with other groups and communities in Massachusetts. Our event is part of ensuring we are part of her victory this November.”

“We expect 40-50 people to attend the Kick-Off/Convention Watch Party,” Ahluwalia said.
