WOBURN, MA– Academy of Creative Arts will present “Party Poppers” dance by children at Diwali Mela and Fall Wedding Expo on Sunday, Oct. 9, at Hilton Hotel in Woburn, MA. Party Poppers” is choreographed by Nikita Rao, founder and Artistic Director of the Nikita’s Bollywood Dance Academy.
“These little ones from the ages of 5 to 9 will be lighting the stage on fire with their cute and energetic performance,” said Java Joshi, founder of Burlington, MA-based Academy of Creative Arts. “Party poppers in full festive mood get a power packed fun dance performance which will surely get everyone all dancing. So let get ready to make some noise for the party poppers at our INE Diwali Mela.”
The Diwali Mela and Bridal Expo is organized by INDIA New England News, the region’s largest and oldest online, print and video magazine. The expo, which is aimed at providing a single venue where attendees can do their Diwali shopping and meet the area’s premier wedding vendors, draws hundreds of people every year. The event is free for all attendees.
Academy of Creative Arts is a school where more than 20 different forms of afterschool programs such as Art, Music, Indian and Western Dances, Theatre/Acting, Public Speaking, Photography, Henna, Yoga etc. are all taught under one roof in Burlington.
Diwali Mela and expo will bring together the region’s premier vendors in areas of fashion, design, jewelry, photography, videography, restaurant, wedding planners, decorators and henna experts.
The expo will open at 11:00 a.m. and will run through 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Woburn Hilton. The hotel is also the platinum sponsor of the event. Silver sponsors include Alankar Event Planners & Decorators and Boston Sound and Light Co.
